Just for a song. I heard it on the radio and even though I could only just make out the bassline and not the voice somehow I knew it was The Pretenders. I looked up what songs of theirs were popular and lo and behold it was “My City Was Gone”. I have never listened to the Pretenders before. Mind is blown.

I guess Mulan’s producers weren’t a fan of partying all the time.
Thinking about Libya. I mean, it’s pretty terrible, isn’t it? But then I got to thinking…if I was trying to comfort my 5-year-old self that was upset about Libya, I would tell myself the following:
These people are beautiful, strong, and incredible because they are fighting for their freedom. Sadness doesn’t help or serve them in any way. They only deserve our love, support, and admiration because they are heroes.
